West Shaw Farm provides permanent and seasonal boarding for mares, including maiden, barren, in-foal, and foaling mares, with full reproductive care in partnership with Equine Reproductive Service (ERS) and daily care by Baker McVeigh. We offer transport across the UK and Ireland to stud farms, minimizing infection risks for foals.
Our comprehensive services include vaccinations, farrier visits, worming routines, and registrations. For seasonal boarding, we cater to horses needing box rest or a break, offering a range of box sizes, grass paddocks, and all-weather or indoor turnout, ideal for injury recovery.
West Shaw Farm offers a professional sales preparation service for all major sales, from foals and yearlings to horses in training. Our facilities include lunge rings, horse walkers, and grass paddocks for hand walking, ensuring that all horses are prepared to arrive at the sales ring in top condition.
